The Manor is filled with residents and staff who truly enjoy one another amid the day to day  reality of living and working in a small town.  Many residents have spent their entire lives in Saline County.  This is home for them.  Nursing care team members know the residents as former staff members, teachers, farmers, and kitchen workers.  The link forged by the common thread of shared rural experiences forges a path of caring and concern which is second to none. 

The Manor staff truly seem to enjoy what they do.  They advocate for their former neighbors to make sure the needs for physical and emotional comfort are met.  They understand the vulnerability of the aging population and strive to make the residents lives as full of purpose as possible.  They practice the philosophy that “there but for the grace of God go I” in their approach to resident care.  The difference in approach shows and therein lies the “why.”
