WMH Auxiliary
The first meeting of the Warren Memorial Hospital Auxiliary was held on December 7, 1970. Mrs. Clarence Zimmer served as the first president of the group and led the charge to provide services from the community to benefit the hospital and hospital annex. The initial organizational meeting drew the interest of 40 citizens eager to be involved in “worthwhile work” on behalf of Warren Memorial Hospital.
This solid beginning has evolved into an Auxiliary which meets quarterly to continue the tradition of supporting the mission of Warren Memorial Hospital. Auxiliary members bake, sew, craft, organize and serve the organization in a multitude of other ways. Patients, families, and staff benefit from the Auxiliary’s financial as well as hands on support provided by the Auxiliary members.
New members to the Auxiliary are always welcome. Join a fine tradition of service by becoming one of the group!
Important Auxiliary Dates
· October 18, 2008 Fall Fundraiser at WMH in the hospital conference room. Fundraiser will feature a quilt auction, other raffle prizes and homemade craft and food items
· December 6, 2008 Holiday Tour of homes
· December 13, 2008 Holiday Cookie Walk (same weekend as Christmas Tree Festival). Cookie Walk will take place in the conference room at WMH
